Palmer Course
A great starting hole that's challenging for any golfer. First, your tee shot must clear the large oak on the right to have a shot at the green. Approach shots must avoid the creek that protects the front and left of a severely back to front sloped green. Stay below the hole for the best chance to make a putt.

Player Course
Strategy is more important than length on the opening hole of Gary Player's Signature Course. Your best bet is to stay left and land your drive at the 150 mark to set up for your second shot. Hitting long, short or right into the green will make for a tough par.

Trevino Course
Accuracy tends to be more important than distance on the first hole of the Trevino Course. Your best bet is to favor the right side of the fairway as the left slants into trouble. The green is shallow and is split into two tiers left and right. Stick the green on the pin side, or be prepared to test your putter early in the round.
